First Blog: Fan art
The last models I've made using Maya, 3dMax and Zbrush. Jax from Nether Realm Studio's MK franchise. It's a series I've been a fan of since it first came out, and I'm still loving.
I'm using this fan art as a template or theme for learning the Unreal Development Kit. To see if I can put a little something together. I've only learned how to do this with a free fighting game engine called MUGEN. Although I love to work with it, and have been able to do a lot. Upgrading to the UDK, for me would be an incredible feeling, so that's my pet project for now.
Here you can see what I've done so far..., coding and editing tons of sprites for a custom fighting system.
It's all for fun, although I would love to work with the developers of this game. I do it to keep busy, learn new software and improve my art.
The base was box modeled, and later tweaked in Zbrush
And here's a prop for the Living Forest, inspired by some concept art from the soon to be release MK9.
